Thanks to María Jesús Ballesta we have known the first edition of the Best Initiatives on Patient Safety Awards , of the Group IDCsalud–Quirón.




These awards wants to encourage the development of safe practices to users and health professionals, recognizing the best projects of 2014 and 2015 economically.

Projects may be submitted until 10 may (see bases on the link of the award). This call is open to all persons or entities with projects within the 12 areas of patient safety, established by WHO. Applicants may belong to both public and private health centres, or institutions related to health as scientific societies or associations of patients, among others, and may submit as many initiatives as they consider relevant for this first edition.

The winning projects will be announced during the II International Workshop on Patient Safety and Clinical Excellence, which will take place on May 28, 2015 at the Aula Magna of the Fundación Jiménez Díaz in Madrid.

From the IC-HU Project we encourage you to send your proposals and compite for one of the awards, at the end that will be the benefit of everyone: patients, families and professionals.
