Hola a tod@s, my dear friends:

Following in the line of discovering and disseminating organizations that fight for  Humanized heathcare as a fact, today I want to present an impressive institution which Kathy Torpie shared with me.

The Beryl Institute, of the United States of America, is a global community whose fundamental mission is to improve the patient experience.

Founded in 2006 by Paul Spiegelman and currently directed by Jason A. Wolf, the Beryl Institute has more than 23,000 members.

Their commitment is the creation of a dynamic space where members participate, expand collaborate and enrich a global dialogue on the improvement.

More than a partnership, the Institute is a community of practice, where they engages members as active participants and contribute to the collective construction of knowledge, reinforcing the value of patient and expanding the impact of the patient’s experience around the world.

The Beryl Institute. counts with a lot of resources, such as educational videos about attention to the patient, books, the Patient Experience Journal, a blog and the development of an annual Conference.

I am sure that you will be interested and that many of you will follow them on Facebook, Twitter or join to their group on Linkedin.

Many thanks for your work, from IC-HU Project  we hope that continue being an example to follow for all us.

Happy Tuesday!

Gabi
