Hola a todos, my dear friends.

We start September with the first of many invitations.

After the presentation of the Humanization Plan of Intensive Care Units of the Community of Madrid, a serie of training activities for professionals organized by the General Direction of Coordination of Citizen Care and Humanization of Health Assistance of the Community of Madrid will take place, with the collaboration of the IC-HU Project.

The first one is destined to 40 ICU professionals (medical and nurses), and is going to be celebrate at Hospital Universitario Ramón y Cajal from October 19th to 21st (morning shift).

It´s a theoretical and practical course of 15 hours to provide knowledge and skills to deal with and prevent the burnout syndrome in ICU professionals.

You can fill out the application and see the full program by clicking on the following link (only available in Spanish).

This time, the activity will be performed by our colleagues and friends from the Center of Humanization of Health, Carmen Hernández (nurse) and Pablo Posse (psychologist), both Masters in Counselling.

We hope this activity would be a total success and the beginning of many editions, because the topic is of general interest. Caring the caregiver needs to leave of being a mantra: Let´s do it.

Happy Tuesday,
Gabi
