Hola a tod@s, my dear amig@s:

As you know and after the great success on 2015, the IC-HU Project and the Center of Humanization of Health are organizing in Barcelona the II National Conference on Humanizing Intensive Care.

This year, the Conference will take place on May 26th and 27th at Espai Pujades 350 (thanks to the excellent efforts of the Col.legi Oficial d´Infermeria de Barcelona), and we have the challenge of doubling assistance: we want to reach 300 persons. So, it time to book your agenda!!

As last year, we will apply for the scientific endorsements of SEMICYUC, SEEIUC, SECA and SOCMIC, and we will seek accreditation from any University, including the Patients University.

We want to become an open forum not only to professionals but also to expacients, families and students, because the humanization of care is a trending topic. And we want that the ICU will be the engine of change in which the rest of health sectors could look, towards the revolution of the whole system.

As there is so much to do, we ask you to get in touch with us (gabihache@hotmail.com) before February 26th to send proposals for topics and speakers, because we need to close the program as soon as posible.

I can affirm that the provisional program is almost better than the last year, and we will count with several experts and amazing topics.  We will also have workshops and pre-Conference courses.

We are preparing a press kit to get partnerships and sponsors, so if anyone has ideas about which companies might be interested in the Conference, let us know please. To greater collaboration, lower will be the registration fee and I assure you it will be very competitive, so no one will miss it.

I am sure with the help of everybody, we will do this Conference a meeting point for people, regardless of their status. A forum for listening and a space where the Center will be the human being: sick people, their families and professionals.

We are still committed to the social revolution, starting from the Health System.

In 21st century, the care is people-centered.

Happy Friday.
Gabi
