Hola a tod@s, my dear friends:
Several months ago, Dr. Cliff Reid gave an awesome speech in Social Media And Critical Care (SMACC) about a quality of which many of us are not even aware and we use almost daily in our welfare work: The cognitive resilience.
I was so impressed with his talk, so Oliver Flower (www.intensivecarenetwork.com) and IC-HU Project worked again together for editing and translate the talk in order to give maximum diffusion and no one will miss the message. This is the full video, which I highly recommend (remember enable Spanish subtitles by clicking on CC in the lower right corner of the video).
This is the Promotional Video, that I am sure it will leave you with desiree of seeing the full one!!:
And very useful and beautiful too, the explanatory post of Raquel Bonsfills (excuse me, only in Spanish) I met thanks to the Linkedin Group of Psychology of urgencies and emergencies.
I hope that you will not leave indifferent, because all of us can be a hero!
Happy Tuesday!
Gabi
How to be a hero? Outstanding post! That's difficult to develope the required skills to ensure a good chognitive resilience for health workers and mainly in critical care and emergency field. As far as I 'm concerned and rewarding to my experience, I think that the guist of resilience is to achieve a balance with your own internal security, facing up the adversity and acute challenges at once
