Hola a tod@s, my dear friends.

Do you know the  Hospital Optimista Awards?

This brilliant idea looks for to recognize those practices or projects that improve the environment of the patient and the family. It is a solidarity campaign open to the participation of public and private enterprise, where it is possible any type of collaboration by health professional associations, associations of patients or non-profits associations.

The aim is to highlight those hospitals or health care centers, teams, services and projects working to humanize care to the patient. That patient who could be everyone.

They are available on the website www.hospitaloptimista.org and you can apply in four different categories:

  • Hospitals and primary care centers.
  • Multidisciplinary teams/services
  • Projects carried out by hospitals, NGOs, foundations or companies in health centres.
  • Pediatric projects carried out by hospitals, NGOs, foundations or companies in health centres.

The first two categories are ruled by the HERO-HOS (Healthy & Resilient Organizations) model WoNT of the Universitat Jaume I WoNT research team. Assessment centres and team presented will be done through an anonymous questionnaire. The third and fourth category will be decided by a vote of the jury.

In each category the Top 10 of the best applications will be released, and they will be invited to participate in the Ceremony Awards (Madrid 2016, April 28th). The best three applications will win the award. All nominations should be specified prior to which nonprofit Association (designed to help hospitalized patients and their family members) would like to help with the delivery of the award. The jury will be composed of professionals from the sector and concerning relevant personalities in these initiatives

The project has been organized and promoted by the medical surgical material Vygon, S.A, Universitat Jaume I WoNT research team, the Fundación Grupo OTP, and the Fundación ATRESMEDIA.

As you know, the IC-HU project was chosen the best National Project Hospital Optimista of 2015, so we encourage you to participate because…

TOGETHER WE ARE CHANGING OUR WORLD

Happy Wednesday,
Gabi
