Hola a tod@s, my dear friends.

I was in debt with you, so here it is the talk that I did at #SOMIAMA 2014 on family presence during in-hospital cardiopulmonary resuscitation (click for get the pdf, only available in Spanish).

The star of the session, without any doubt, was someone who most of you already know: José Luis Díaz, the main character in Return to tell the story, report of a heart attack.

José accepted the invitation without hesitation and wanted to join the session to throw new data to the approaches of the professionals. Certainly, his words left and will leave breathless someone. An essential video that once again we have translated into English to increase its dissemination. It lasts only three minutes, you can not miss it.

As you can see, there are many things to talk and reach an agreement. The last two slides summarize what I learned to prepare and review the subject.

No doubt another great wonder was to meet and prepare it with Alfredo Serrano, physician from SUMMA 112 and founder of Emergency Medicine based on the evidence (MEBE), and who initiated the session talking about the same topic but out the hospital. Impressive talk and audiovisual documents.

I hope it could be useful for you and help to bring light and debate.

Happy Saturday
Gabi
