Hola a tod@s, my dear Friends.
Yesterday was a splendid day!!
The Project Family Centered Intensive Care created by Lorette Gijsbers, nurse of intensive care in the Netherlands, was awarded with the Golden Ear in the European Listening and Health Conference held in Nijmegen in the last 48 hours.
Lorette, who has collaborated several times with IC-HU Project (remember the precious letter to Kathy), asked us to help to develop the video presentation submitted to win the prize.
Many other collaborators among which you will see many familiar faces: Kathy Torpie, Marianne Brackel, Jeroen Van Den Bos, Jean-Daniel Chiche, Gary Black, Howard Hoover, Idelette Nutma, Peter Gibb, Guido Ingels and a server. From New Zealand, The Netherlands, France, United Kingdom, United States and Spain… all together for a single purpose.
This is the result:
As part of this International Network of collaboration for the Humanizing of Intensive Care, we couldn’t be more proud and we are delighted to be recognized our efforts with this common objective, irrespective of the place where we are.
Something is changing in Intensive Care Medicine.
We will continue to make CHANGE posible.
Congratulations! Let´s go to celebrate the success of the work well done and our constancy.
Happy weekend,
Gabi
