Hola a tod@s, my dear friends.

It´s my pleasure to announce that the Third Conference of Humanization of  Intensive Care has already defined space and dates, so you can book those days on your agenda.

As we announced in the #2JHUCI, we wanted to take the H to the south of Spain and thus we are going to do. Thanks to the support and the tune with Joan Carles March, the #3JHUCI will be held in the Escuela Andaluza de Salud Pública of the wonderful city of Granada, on May 18th and 19th.

The Escuela Andaluza de Salud Pública was created 31 years ago as a public company, attached to the Consejería de Salud and founding capital full of the  Junta de Andalucía. It is a collaborating centre of the World Health Organization and the Pan American Health Organization. It´s a member of the main international associations of schools of public health and health management both in Europe and Latin America: EHMA (European Health Management Association), ASPHER (Association of School of Public Health in the European Region) and ALAESP (Latin American Association of Schools of Public Health).

Since 1988 there is an agreement with the Universidad de Granada. Large number of institutions and national universities and other countries also maintain collaboration agreements with the EASP. The school also works to professional societies, hospitals and regional health services of all Spain as well for other countries through projects of the European Union, the Pan American Health Organization and the World Bank. In the school are integrated, through its teaching, consulting and research, projects management, and public health approaches through:

• Creating knowledge and spread them among the members of the health organizations .

• Developing a continuous process of updating knowledge in response to changes in social demands and the evolution of health systems.
• Identifying relevant knowledges existing in the organizations and flowing information necessary for their transmission.
• Creating exchange and circulation information spaces and and facilitating transfer between persons in need and who generate them.
• Materializing the knowledge creating products, services and systems and implementing them in organizations.

And as the previous years, we want your active participation in developing the program: you can suggest us topics, speakers or pre-congress workshops (on the morning of Thursday, from 10 am to 1 pm) for all, designing the Congress we want. As always, there will be many surprises and the possibility to send us scientific communications about the things that you are doing in your HumanICU, because during 2017, we want to develop the map of humanization of the ICU and  we need your help. We will count with the presence not only of professionals; you know that all people are welcome (families and patients of course) and that we will gradually introduce issues of humanization not only for the ICU, but also for all healthcare system in general.

So send your proposals to gabi@proyectohuci.com before January 27th. Soon, we will post more info on the #3JHUCI in terms of logistical issues.

Happy Friday,

Gabi
